New to college

  • If you are a first-time user, choose "Start New Application" to create an account. Choose "Continue Saved Application or Reapply" to continue an application or apply to another MCCCD college.

  • Select PVCC as college of choice.

  • Select type of Program (degree and certificates or credit/non-credit).

  • Continue with steps to complete admissions form.

  • Log in to your Student Center at and complete all of the items on your "To Do" list.

Record your Student ID, Maricopa Enterprise ID (MEID) and (Password). We suggest you store these in your Phone under the Contact PVCC ID for quick reference.

IMPORTANT - To qualify for in-state tuition and financial assistance, students must provide documentation as proof of lawful presence in the United States. Acceptable documents include a birth certificate, an Arizona driver license or ID card issued after 1996, and official immigration papers.

It’s not an admissions test, but a way to assess what Reading, English, and Math courses are right for you as you begin college.  A photo ID is required for all testing.  Study guides are online at

At Black Mountain: Monday – Thursday Hours Vary No Testing on Friday *Hours vary throughout the semester due to class schedules, call to confirm times.

At PV Union Hills: The Testing Center is located in the KSC building, (602) 787-7050.  Testing is done on a walk-in basis.   Call for specific hours.

To apply for financial aid or scholarships, visit the Financial Aid website at or the Financial Aid Office, Kranitz Student Center, KSC Building 602-787-7100. Apply early and be aware of important deadlines.

Academic Advisors will assist you with planning for your future and choosing your classes. They will advise you concerning certificate and degree options, placement test interpretation and course descriptions.

Advisement is available as both drop in or appointment at Black Mountain.

  • Select Student Center

  • Enter your User ID (MEID)

  • Enter your Password

  • Click Sign in to go to your Student Center

  • In your Student Center, under Finances, select Payment Options. Select by Credit Card, echeck or Payment Plan.

Pay In Person at Black Mountain with Credit Card only. Cash payments can be made at PV Union Hills Cashier's Office, KSC Building

A. Log in to your Maricopa Community Colleges Email Account
Log in to your college email account using your MEID and password at:

  • Select Message Center

All students will receive official communications about enrollment, financial aid, and other important deadlines.

B. Attend New Student Orientation - Mandatory for new Students
New Student Orientation is designed to help you: navigate the college system including all the things you need to be successful in college, meet other students as well as faculty and staff, participate in a campus tour, and more. You will register for an Orientation during your Academic Advising session.

C. Obtain your Photo ID Card
Get ID at The Tutoring Center in Aquila

D. Enroll in a College Success Course
You’ll learn strategies for achieving your goals in college and in life including: Preparation for college work, increasing motivation and confidence, decreasing procrastination and stress, note taking and time management. You will register for your College Success Course during your Advising session.
